GENERAL RULES FOR OUR

TEACHING COMMUNITY

PART I UNIFORM:

  • All the Teachers shall come to school in the prescribed uniform.
  • On Saturdays, civil dress is allowed.
  • Uniform is a must on any important day such as Independence Day, Annual Day, PTA meet, etc..
  • Wearing ID card is also a must in the school and the van.
  • No Teacher shall be allowed to travel in the school van without wearing ID card.
  • All the female teaching faculties are to wear hairs in braid.

PART II MOBILE PHONE:

  • Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the school premises of the school bus.
  • The Teachers bringing mobile phones to school must switch off them/or hand over them to the office in-charge as soon as they enter the school premises. And, they can get their phones back immediately after the last bell goes.
  • If any urgency to make a phone call, they may use the office phone.

PART III SIGNING THE REGISTERS:

  • Failing to sign the Master’ Register in time may be treated as CL.
  • Fore noon signing time: Before 9:30 am

PART IV LEAVE:

  • Prior permission is highly advisable as far as CL is concerned.
  • Number of Casual Leave shall be one per month.
  • Filling in the Leave Application and getting it duly signed by the Principal is inevitable before 11 am.
  • Asking permission for CL over the phone shall be no way entertained except in emergency cases.
  • Asking permission to go outside for certain time duration in school hours is strictly avoidable.

PART V RECORD SUBMISSION:

  • Submission of Notes of Lessons shall be made on Mondays without fail.
  • At the end of every working day, the Daily work-done Register & Teacher’s Diary must be submitted to the principal.
  • Any submission should be done before 9.30 am.
  • After the completion of each Term, the CCE Register should be submitted on time to the Principal.

PART VI RESPONSIBILITY OF CLASS TEACHERS:

  • The Respective Class Teachers must take essential things such as Attendance Register, Work-done Register, Chalk piece, Duster, etc. To the class room immediately after signing the Masters’ Register.
  • Fill all the given particulars in the Attendance Register for each and every month.
  • Marking attendance in the first period in the morning as well as in the afternoon is a must.
  • Signing the Mirror in the first is to be practiced regularly.
  • Involving the children to do any sort of work other than learning is highly prohibited.
  • All the Class Teachers are instructed to have lunch with in their respective class rooms.
  • Filing the leave letters brought by the students is very much important.
  • Leave letter has to be collected from the absentees (students) when they return to school.
  • The students returning, after taking leave, to school without leave letter must be sent to the principal’s chamber.
  • If a student is absent for two consecutive days, it must be brought to the Principal’s notice.
  • If a student is leaving the school in between the school hours because of illness, should get a proper permission from the Class teacher and the Principal. And then send the student with the parent only.
  • Afternoon handwriting hour should be done properly with all the students after completing their lunch on time.

PART VII SPOKEN ENGLISH:

  • Speaking English is a must in the school premises.
  • Teachers must converse in English with the school authorities and the workmates.
  • Functional language is to be highly used in the classrooms to a greater extend.
  • Teachers must not discourage the children speaking English.

PART VIII EXAM & CORRECTION WORK:

  • Weekly tests are to be conducted as per the schedule.
  • Question paper is to be designed properly and checked meticulously. And the same has to be submitted to the principal to get the green signal.
  • Immediately after the correction work in over, the mark list is to be submitted to the principal.
  • Correction work is strictly prohibited within the class room during class hours.
  • Belated note book correction may result in severe actions.

PART IX COMMON RULES:

  • Avoid unnecessary conversations with Non-Teaching staff members during the school hours.
  • Allowing the children to go to the rest room during the class hours is not appreciable but under unavoidable circumstances.
  • Greeting the higher authorities and the colleagues on both arriving and leaving is to be practiced.
  • Teachers must not converse inside the class room.
  • Duties allotted to the teachers during any celebration in the school should be obeyed and done with proper care.
  • All the faculties should enter the school campus within 8:40 am and leave the campus after 4:45 pm for sure.
  • Morning Reading practise should be taken over with immense care by the class teachers and other faculties.

PART X QUITING THE INSTITUTION:

  • If anybody wants to leave the institution for any reasonable reason, he/she must serve a notice to the school authorities three months prior to the date of leaving.

PART XI CONDITIONS:

  • The entire teaching community should work for the betterment of the students. If anybody is found standing against the interest of the institution or breaking the rules and regulations cited above or misbehaving or doing anything directly or indirectly to spoil the reputation of the institution, he/she shall be expelled from the school after confirming the facts.
  • With due respect all the teachers should cooperate with the other working faculties for the betterment of the school.
  • The teachers are allowed to share their views and thoughts to the management but the management Decision is final.

PART XII PARENTS:

  • Avoid unnecessary conversation with the parents while the wait in the office.
  • Sharing the teacher’s mobile number with the parents is strictly prohibited. PART XIII TO THE SUBJECT TEACHERS:
  • The Students’ Note work correction should be done properly for all subject teachers with immense care.
  • All Subject Teachers are asked to enter the Classroom on time for all the periods. The Delayed Entries will be noted separately and the Teacher will be forced to face the consequences later.
  • All the Subject Teachers should maintain and follow the Home Work timetable properly.
  • Weekly Minimum of 2 tests should be conducted to all the classes in their respective subjects.
  • The subject teachers are asked to cooperate with the person who is coming for class inspection/observation.
  • Maintain your Subject Note and Text book of the students neatly and insist the students to have a neat hand writing in their text book as well as note book.
  • The Correction work of the subjects should be done in regular interval of time.
  • After the correction work completion only the Home work should be given to the students for study.
